John Jonovski
Senior Investment Banker and Board Finance Advisor
John Jonovski is a senior investment banker and board-level finance advisor with more than 25 years of international experience across investment banking, corporate finance, and asset management. He has held senior roles at UBS Investment Bank in London, as well as at NM Rothschild & Sons, ABN AMRO, and Coopers & Lybrand, advising boards and executive teams on complex financial and strategic decisions.
John has led and advised on high-value cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, capital restructuring, and investor relations mandates across Europe, the United States, Asia, and Australia. His work spans both developed and emerging markets, giving him a deep understanding of capital markets, financial risk, and shareholder dynamics at board level.
He is the Founder of Phalanx Capital, a global investment and advisory firm that provides independent financial advisory, capital access, and investment management services to corporations, financial institutions, governments, private equity firms, and high-net-worth investors worldwide.
Ivanka Visnjic
Professor of Innovation and Strategic Board Advisor
Ivanka Visnjic is a Full Professor of Innovation at Esade Business School and a board-level advisor with over 20 years of research and advisory experience in business model transformation in established companies, helping them create and capture value as they shift to services, digital technologies and AI, and sustainability. She has held senior academic leadership roles at Esade Business School and previously worked at McKinsey & Company.
Her work spans advisory, research, and executive education across sectors, including industrial, biopharmaceutical, high-tech, and FMCG. Ivanka advises boards and executive teams on the strategic oversight of business model transformation, sharpening growth ambition and translating it into a coherent transformation agenda. She focuses on the operating model, capability build-out, and partner alignment required for innovation to scale into long-term value creation.
She currently serves as an independent Non-Executive Director at Wiser Technology (BUL: WISR), a publicly listed IT services company, and has held advisory and board roles in startups and scale-ups, including Bridged Media. Her contributions have been featured in leading outlets, including Harvard Business Review and MIT Sloan Management Review, and she has been recognized with distinctions such as the IBM Faculty Award, Poets & Quants’ “Top 40 Under 40 MBA Professors,” and a shortlisting for the Panmure House Prize for her research impact.
